Job Title: Junior IT Support Officer
The Junior IT Support Officer is responsible for providing technical support to ensure smooth operations of our payment systems, POS infrastructure, and internal IT services. He/She will assist in troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing system configurations, and maintaining network security.
The Junior IT Support Officer shall have the following major duties and responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for internal staff and customers using POS systems and payment gateways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to POS terminals, payment processing systems, and network configurations.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including POS devices, payment gateways, and related software.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime for payment systems and internal IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and assist in network security management.
- Assist in system upgrades, software updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to assist with troubleshooting and technical projects.

BSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
