Junior IT Support Officer

Job Title: Junior IT Support Officer
The Junior IT Support Officer is responsible for providing technical support to ensure smooth operations of our payment systems, POS infrastructure, and internal IT services. He/She will assist in troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing system configurations, and maintaining network security.
The Junior IT Support Officer shall have the following major duties and responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-level technical support for internal staff and customers using POS systems and payment gateways.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to POS terminals, payment processing systems, and network configurations.
  3. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including POS devices, payment gateways, and related software.
  4. Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime for payment systems and internal IT infrastructure.
  5. Ensure compliance with security protocols and assist in network security management.
  6. Assist in system upgrades, software updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
  7. Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures for future reference.
  8. Collaborate with senior IT staff to assist with troubleshooting and technical projects.
    Qualification/Experience
    Education:
    BSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
    Experience:
    No experience required
